DJ KIOMBE, is one of the new rising stars on the DJ scene. With an insatiable passion for all genres of music, this Detroit-born artist began tinkling the ivories at the tender age of four to crafting mixtapes for friends and family gatherings at 16. Kiombe’s musical journey is as diverse as it is captivating.

 

It was in April 2022 that Kiombe made the bold leap to elevate her passion into a profession seeking mentorship from DJ Bathsheba, a seasoned industry professional. Under Bathsheba’s guidance, Kiombe practiced technical and creative skills necessary to excel in her craft, and even co-DJed with her mentor at various events including a High School Prom, Birthday Parties and at (The Nation’s Largest Women’s Expo) The 2022 Ultimate Women’s Expo in Phoenix, AZ.

 

As an open-format DJ, Kiombe blends the infectious beats of hip-hop and R&B, sprinkled with 80s/90s/2000s throwbacks, to the soulful melodies of neo soul, funk, 70s soul, and Motown classics. She effortlessly weaves together a tapestry of sound that resonates with every soul in the room. 

 

Her solo performances at a variety of events, from high school prom sendoffs in the bustling streets of Los Angeles, CA, to private birthday celebrations then a 2nd appearance at the expo entrance of The 2023 Ultimate Women’s Expo in Phoenix, Az.

 

Eager to take her craft to new heights, DJ Kiombe embarked on a journey of professional training at The DJ Coach Level Up 50 course, under the expert tutelage of Coach DJ Hapa and Coach Bryy.
